Housing Authority of Henderson’s Building Dreams on a Solid Foundation Program, has been created specifically to offer the most effective techniques for achieving homeownership among low income families. Down payment assistance could be available.

Homeownership education classes are available. These seminars are held to help the public obtain knowledge into what can be expected during the home buying process. Each client will receive a certificate of completion which is good for (1) one year, and can be used to receive free “One on One” counseling sessions. Financial institutions will be notified of clients completing and receiving the KHC home ownership training.

Yes you can home study is available for participants who need to close their mortgage before a class is available.

One on One counseling sessions provide the client with the necessary information in order to be credit ready to obtain a mortgage.
